Job description

Shape the future of innovative conveyor solutions with AmbaFlex!

Are you passionate about turning customer and market needs into products that can be confidently specified, sold, produced, installed and serviced worldwide? Do you enjoy leading cross-functional initiatives at the intersection of technology, commercialization and lifecycle performance? At AmbaFlex, we're looking for a Product Manager who can connect market opportunities with the organization and turn product ideas into globally launch-ready solutions.

Who are we?

At AmbaFlex, we are the global leader in spiral conveyor solutions. Our systems keep production and logistics processes moving for some of the world's leading companies in food & beverage, e-commerce fulfilment, parcel logistics and manufacturing.

Innovation is at the heart of everything we do. That's why we continuously invest in new products, smarter solutions and technologies that create value for our customers worldwide.

Product Manager - Product Introduction & Lifecycle

As Product Manager, you act as the Industry Product Lead for an assigned portfolio. You connect Industry Business Development, Technology/Engineering and the functions that must sell, produce, install and service the product. Business Development drives market development and key accounts, while Technology owns technical design and validation. You own the integrated introduction and lifecycle-readiness process that brings all contributions together.

You work across Idea-to-Market, Market-to-Order and the feedback loop from Order-to-Cash. From portfolio mapping and gap analysis to business-case preparation, stage-gate coordination, global launch, regional onboarding and post-launch follow-up, you ensure products become commercially usable, operationally repeatable and fully supported solutions.

What you'll do

  • Maintain a structured product and portfolio map, including lifecycle status, variants, gaps and improvement priorities.

  • Translate insights from consultants and architects, system integrators, end users and regional teams into clear requirements together with Business Development, the Industry Application Engineer and Technology.

  • Prepare decision-ready gap analyses, value propositions and business cases for new products, product improvements and lifecycle decisions.

  • Act as the internal project manager for product introductions and major lifecycle changes, using an integrated plan, stage-gates, owners, milestones, dependencies, risks and clear definitions of done.

  • Coordinate readiness across Technology/Engineering, Product Engineering, Operations, Quality, Marketing, Sales and Service, while specialist functions retain ownership of their technical content and sign-offs.

  • Coordinate the market-introduction package and regional onboarding: training, battlecards, whitepapers, webpage content, presentations, consultant specification material, system-integrator guidance, demonstrations and exhibition preparation.

  • Ensure visibility and completion of product, operational and service deliverables such as PDCs and configuration guidance, product data and BOM status, production/test checklists, manuals, compliance readiness, spare-parts packages, maintenance concepts and pricing alignment.

  • Support first-of-kind and pilot introductions, capture lessons learned and turn them into product, documentation, training, service and process improvements.

  • Run post-launch reviews, monitor adoption and performance, maintain the lifecycle-improvement backlog and drive agreed actions to closure.

What success looks like

  • Products launch with a complete sales, service, operations, documentation and technical-readiness package.

  • Regional teams are trained and equipped before launch, with one consistent product story and clear application/configuration guidance.

  • Late blockers and ad-hoc firefighting are reduced, while customer and field feedback is converted into measurable lifecycle improvements.

Who should apply?

We're looking for a technically minded, commercially aware and highly structured professional who enjoys bringing people, technology and market ambitions together. You lead through influence, create clarity across functions and follow through until the complete result is delivered.

You bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, Product Management or a comparable technical-commercial discipline.

  • Several years of experience in product management, new-product introduction, commercialization or technical project/program management within a technical B2B environment.

  • A proven ability to translate customer and market needs into clear requirements, business cases, priorities and executable plans.

  • Experience leading cross-functional product introductions in an international matrix organization, preferably without direct authority over all contributors.

  • Working knowledge of stage-gate/product-development processes and sufficient technical understanding of configuration, BOM/product data, testing, documentation, compliance readiness, serviceability and spare-parts concepts.

  • Strong project-management, analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills across technical, operational and commercial teams.

  • Fluency in English and willingness to travel internationally when needed.

Experience within intralogistics, automation, industrial equipment or capital goods - particularly in a market involving consultants, system integrators and end customers - is considered a strong advantage.

What we offer

  • A visible role with the opportunity to professionalize and shape our end-to-end product-introduction and lifecycle process.

  • The opportunity to influence products from early market need through global launch and continuous improvement.

  • Close collaboration with highly skilled commercial, application, engineering, operations, marketing and service teams.

  • An international scope, working with colleagues and regional organizations around the world.

  • Plenty of room for personal growth and professional development.

  • An entrepreneurial environment where initiative, ownership and innovation are encouraged.

  • Competitive employment conditions and flexible working arrangements.
