Night Shift Assembly Supervisor Canton,OH

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Night Shift Assembly Supervisor on the Production Team at AmbaFlex Manufacturing in Canton, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the assembly process during the night shift, ensuring that production targets are met and quality standards are maintained.

• Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality
• Train and mentor assembly team members to enhance their skills and performance
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure work environment
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and meet production goals

Night Shift Schedule

• Monday-Thursday 6:30pm-5am (4/10s)

AmbaFlex is the Global Leader in Spiral Conveyor Systems. Our Manufacturing Facility in Canton, OH is one of five worldwide, and was established in 2010 as our only Manufacturing facility in the U.S. The Assembly department assembles components to a semi-finished or finished product and is responsible for the quality of the delivered work according to the order planning.

Education Requirement:

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Associate degree in Business Administration, or Engineering field is preferred

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in a similar position within manufacturing or technical industry
• Prior experience in a technical environment
• Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office

Key tasks:

• Work in cooperation with the day shift and weekend shift supervisors to meet company goals and objectives.
• Generates improvement proposals to the Vice President to reduce costs and lead times, reduce rejections / distortions and improve the functionality of the production (processes).
• Think and act customer orientated.
• Work according to the standards and values of the company regulations.
• Monitoring and fulfilment of the order planning of the construction departments.
• Accepting assignments, including drawings and other written / verbal information and checks on feasibility for the production employees.
• Handing out assignments, provide support and give instructions to the production employees.
• Divide or adjust the available or required capacity based on the planning.
• Actively participate in planning and staff meetings.

• Checking the daily timecards of the night shift Assembly Mechanics.
