At AmbaFlex, we are the global market leader in spiral conveyor solutions. Our success is driven by innovation, quality, and our people. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic – AVH to join our Assembly team and support the production of high-quality transport and conveyor systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components according to technical specifications, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency standards are consistently met.

Day Shift Schedule

  • Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm (4/10s)

The Role

As a Mechanic – AVH, you will work from technical drawings and work instructions to assemble, adjust, and test conveyor systems within defined timeframes and quality standards. You will collaborate closely with supervisors, engineers, and other production teams to support safe, efficient, and continuous operations.

What you’ll do

Assembly & Technical Execution

  • Assemble mechanical components according to drawings and work instructions

  • Build and assemble screw conveyors (AVH models)

  • Adjust and align components to ensure proper operation

  • Perform pre-operational and functional testing

Technical Documentation & Compliance

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications

  • Apply technical requirements accurately during assembly

  • Use measuring tools such as callipers and gauges

  • Job requirements

    Education, Experience & Knowledge

    • 4+ years of experience in mechanical assembly

    • Ability to read and work from schematics and blueprints

    • Electrical experience, including:

      • Running electrical wiring

      • Working with control panels/boxes

      • Troubleshooting motors and general electrical issues

    • Proficient with hand and power tools

    • Experience using callipers and gauges

    • Strong attention to detail and quality

    • Excellent problem-solving skills

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
