Our global service organization supports customers through service hubs in Zwaag, Canton, Tokyo and Kunshan, supported by spare parts warehouses in Zwaag, Canton, Kunshan, Singapore and service engineers located across key markets worldwide.
As part of our strategic roadmap, we are entering the next phase of growth. Over the coming years, we aim to more than double our global service business and transform Service into a key driver of customer value, recurring revenue and long-term growth.
To support realizing this ambition, we are looking for a results-driven Global Service Operations Manager. A people-focused leader with a strong operational mindset.
The role
As Global Service Operations Manager, you will lead the transformation, professionalization and expansion of our global service organization.
This is a tactical leadership role with a strong operational component. You will be responsible for building the structure, teams, partnerships and processes, required to support a rapidly growing installed base and an ambitious growth agenda.
You will work closely with regional teams across EMEA, APAC and AMCAS and collaborate with Business Development, Sales, Engineering and Operations to create a scalable and customer-focused service organization.
You will report directly to the Global Operations Director.
In this role, you will:
Lead the execution of AmbaFlex’s global service growth strategy
Build and scale a high-performing global service organization
Develop and implement scalable service models, field services, spare parts and digital services
Build and develop regional service teams and strengthen leadership capabilities
Create a culture focused on customer first, result oriented and operational excellence.
Develop and manage a global network of service partners and distributors
Develop strong regional service teams and provide them with the processes, tools and structure needed to succeed
Drive accountability and continuous improvement through KPIs, reporting structures and performance management systems
Ensure consistent service quality across internal and external service channels
Drive organizational change and transformation initiatives
Collaborate across functions to align service with commercial and operational objectives
Translate strategic goals into measurable operational improvements

Your background
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, or a comparable level of thinking and working gained through experience.
At AmbaFlex, we believe that attitude, ownership and a proven track record are just as important as formal education.
Proven experience in a senior service operations or service business leadership role
Track record of building and scaling service organizations
Experience within machine building, industrial equipment, manufacturing or material handling environments
Strong experience in organizational development, leadership and change management
Experience implementing and improving operational processes on a global scale
Familiarity with service business models and aftermarket services
Fluent in both Dutch and English, written and spoken
Willingness to travel internationally
