To support our continued growth, we are expanding our Field Service Team EMEA.
The Role
As Field Service Technician EMEA, you are part of the Customer Service Team EMEA and work closely with international colleagues to deliver high-quality service to our customers.
In this role, you independently handle service visits across the EMEA region (approximately 90% international travel, 10% domestic). Your work is varied and hands-on, from installation and commissioning to preventive maintenance, inspections and troubleshooting.
You are a key ambassador of AmbaFlex, ensuring our customers experience professional, reliable and high-quality support at every visit.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Perform installation and commissioning of AmbaFlex conveyor systems
Carry out preventive maintenance and inspections
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and technical malfunctions
Provide on-site repairs and technical support
Train customer operators and integrators on machine operation and maintenance
Support system integrators during installation projects
Provide structured feedback to Customer Service regarding findings and follow-ups
Represent AmbaFlex as a reliable and professional business partner
All service visits are carefully prepared by our coordinators, who ensure that you receive clear instructions and that travel documents and planning are fully arranged, allowing you to focus on delivering technical excellence.
After an intensive training period, you will first visit customers together with a colleague and later operate independently.
Job requirements
Who You Are
You enjoy working independently and traveling across Europe. You are technically skilled, customer-focused and solution-oriented.
You bring:
MBO level working and thinking ability (technical background preferred: Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Technology or similar)
3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar field service or maintenance role
Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills
Fluency in English (a second language such as Spanish, Dutch or French is a plus)
A positive attitude and the ability to work with different customers and cultures
Accuracy and focus on quality and customer satisfaction
The ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills. You can explain, advise, listen and convince
A commercial mindset combined with technical quality
